Location permission is optional. Search and map selection remain available when you prefer not to share the device’s current location.

Personal comfort
Make the forecast match the way you spend time outside.
Set comfort limits for sustained wind, gusts, rain, temperature, preferred parts of the day, and minimum window length.
Plus adds named comfort profiles, so different plans can use different thresholds without repeatedly changing your defaults.
Reminders and widget
Keep the plan close, and refresh before leaving.
Schedule local reminders for planned windows and manage them from Settings. Notifications are created on the device only after you ask for one.
The Home Screen widget shows a cached upcoming window for the selected place. Forecasts can change after a reminder is scheduled, so open WindLine to refresh before you leave.

Free covers the core decision. Plus adds a longer horizon and more flexibility. Prices are provided by the App Store for your storefront and are never hardcoded here.
